Activity Management
Built into the heart of CALIQ is an enterprise-wide Activity Management system - no more post-it notes or internal emails inaccessible to other users.
Anything that needs doing in the business can be the subject of an Activity - ensuring that no issue raised by or action required on behalf of a customer, supplier, business partner or other team member/department is missed or forgotten.
User-defined rules and activity types help you tailor your internal communications to suit the way you work.
Once an Activity is raised it can be actioned and completed or passed around, with follow-up actions, emails raised and linked to it (full Outlook integration), documents attached to it and a full audit trail of who did what and when.
CALIQ itself automatically creates Activities when certain business situations arise. For example, a sales person changes an order for an item on a back-to-back basis which has an impact on an outstanding purchase order – the appropriate buyer is notified via an Activity. Or a stock discrepancy is detected within the picking process – the elected warehouse manager is alerted via an Activity and they can pass it to the sales office for someone to call the customer for a decision to part-ship, ship an alternative or place the item on back-order.
